Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms apply when you engage GrowthChord for marketing, content or photography work. The proposal we sign with you sits on top of them: where a proposal says something different, the proposal wins.

1. What do we agree to do?

Each piece of work starts with a written proposal. It lists what we will do, what you get, and what it costs. Work begins once you accept it in writing.

Anything outside that list is new work. We will quote it before we start, not after.

2. How do quotes and prices work?

Prices on this website are indicative. The price for your work is the one in your proposal.

A quote holds for the period stated on it. Media spend, ad budgets and third-party licence fees are not included in our fee unless the proposal says so.

3. How does payment work?

Invoice dates, deposits and payment windows are set out in your proposal. We may pause work on overdue invoices, and we will tell you before we do.

Taxes apply as required by Sri Lankan law.

4. What do we need from you?

  • Access to the accounts we need, such as your website, Google Business Profile and social profiles.
  • A named person who can approve work and answer questions.
  • Feedback within the time agreed in your proposal, so the schedule holds.
  • Accurate information about your business, your products and any claims you want us to publish.

5. Who owns the work?

You own the final deliverables we make for you once they are paid for in full. That covers the copy, the pages, the edited photographs and the finished reels.

We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, checklists and working files. Raw camera files stay with us unless your proposal says otherwise.

You keep ownership of everything you give us: your logo, your brand assets, your product information and your existing content.

6. What are the terms for photography and video?

Shoot dates are held once booked. If you move or cancel a shoot at short notice, we may charge for crew and studio time already committed.

You confirm that you have permission for the people, places, products and brands in the frame. Where we photograph people, we collect model releases.

We would like to show the work in our portfolio and on our own channels. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will not.

7. What can we not promise?

We cannot promise a position in Google, a mention in an AI answer, a follower count or a number of leads. Nobody can. Those results depend on platforms we do not control, and on competitors who are also working.

What we do promise is the work in your proposal, done properly, and honest reporting on what it produced.

8. What about Google, Meta and other platforms?

Our work runs through services such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn and your hosting provider. Their rules, prices and features change, and they can suspend accounts for reasons outside our control. We are not responsible for those decisions, though we will help you deal with them.

9. Do you keep my information private?

We keep your commercial information confidential, and we expect the same for our pricing and methods. This holds after the work ends.

10. How can the work be ended?

Either of us can end an ongoing engagement with the notice stated in the proposal. You pay for work done up to that point, and for costs we have already committed on your behalf.

On request we will hand over the accounts, files and access we hold for you.

11. What are we liable for?

We are responsible for doing the work with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue or indirect loss.

Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the work in question. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Can these terms change?

We may update this page. The version that applies to your work is the one in force when you accepted your proposal.

13. Which law applies?

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.
