Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 April 2026
This policy says what GrowthChord does with your data: what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. What information do we collect?
- Contact details: your name, email, phone number and company name, when you send the enquiry form.
- Your message: whatever you choose to tell us about the project.
- Growth audit requests: the links you give us (website, Google Business Profile, social pages, a competitor) and your goal, so we can review them.
- Your consent choices: whether you agreed to the audit and, separately, to marketing emails, with the date and the wording shown.
- Free guides: when you ask for a guide, your email address, the first name you gave, which guide, the page you asked from, and whether you ticked the newsletter box. We use it to email you the download link and to let our team know you asked. We do not add you to any mailing list unless you tick that box.
- Website assistant: the questions you type into the chat assistant. If its AI mode is switched on, your questions are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) only to write the reply. We do not store the conversation.
- Server logs: the usual records our web host keeps, which include your IP address and which browser you used.
2. How do we use your data?
- To answer you, and to do the work you hire us for.
- To put together the audit or the quote you asked for.
- To meet what the law requires of us.
3. Does this site use cookies or analytics?
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It does not run Google Analytics, Meta or LinkedIn tracking. Nothing about your visit goes to an ad network.
If we add analytics later, we will update this page before we switch anything on, and we will ask you first where the law says we must.
4. Will you send me marketing emails?
We only send marketing emails if you ask for them: by ticking the separate, unticked-by-default box on the growth audit form, by signing up to our newsletter and ticking its consent box, or by ticking the newsletter box when you ask for a free guide. A newsletter sign-up sends us your email address, the first name you gave, the page you signed up on and the time, and we keep it only to send the newsletter. Asking for an audit does not sign you up to anything. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or you can write to us and we will stop. Withdrawing consent does not affect the audit or enquiry you already made.
5. Which other companies handle my data?
The enquiry form reaches us by email, sent through the company that handles our email. Our web host keeps the server logs. Both work under their own privacy policies, and only to run the service.
6. How long do you keep my data?
We keep what you send through the form for up to 24 months, so we can pick up a conversation again and know what was discussed.
7. What are my rights?
Where you live decides exactly what you can ask for. In the EU, the UK, Australia and New Zealand you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, or tell us to stop using it. Email info@growthchord.com and we will sort it out.
8. Is my data sent to other countries?
Your data may be handled in other countries. Where that happens, we make sure it is protected to the same standard.
9. Do you collect data from children?
Our services are not aimed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Can this policy change?
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date it changed at the top.
11. How can I contact you?
